Job Description: Talent Sourcer for Blue collar roles
Location: Seven Hills (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in office)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Talent Sourcer with a proactive and driven approach to recruitment. This role focuses on sourcing and headhunting exceptional candidates for trades roles, including panel beaters and spray painters, within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding influencing skills, a resilient attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing: Proactively identify, engage, and attract top-tier candidates through direct marketing, headhunting, and other sourcing strategies.
- Candidate Management: Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Market Mapping: Conduct competitor analysis and gather industry intelligence to support recruitment strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with your manager to understand role requirements and deliver high-quality candidates promptly.
- Communication: Manage candidate relationships effectively, overcoming objections and handling negativity with professionalism.
- Recruitment Tools: Utilise advanced search techniques and sourcing tools to locate niche talent.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in talent sourcing, headhunting, or direct recruitment, ideally within trades or a similar industry.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills to manage challenging conversations and secure talent in competitive markets.
- Expertise in market mapping and competitor analysis.
- Self-motivated and resilient, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with recruitment CRMs and sourcing platforms.
