Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our reputable shipment courier company in Horsley Park. This role is ideal for individuals with RF gun experience who are seeking an opportunity to work with a dynamic team. The position offers potential for transitioning from temporary to permanent employment, providing career stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts, including high reach forklifts (experience is a plus).
Utilize RF gun technology for accurate scanning and tracking of shipments.
Perform picking and packing tasks, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Occasionally pick and pack items from a cool room for brief periods (up to 5 minutes).
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Support shipment processing and inventory management using our Warehouse Management System (experience advantageous).
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid forklift license required.
Proven experience with RF gun technology.
Familiarity with shipment systems and warehouse operations.
Strong understanding of picking and packing procedures.
Ability to work in a cool room environment for short durations.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
