Job Description: Production Operator / Forklift Operator

Shift: Monday to Friday ongoing work, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Position Type: Temp to Perm
Hourly Rate: $37.10 per hour

PPE Requirements: Long-sleeve high-visibility shirt and pants with reflector tape (mandatory)

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Production Operator / Forklift Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on role, with equal responsibilities in production labor and forklift operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily pre-start checks on production equipment.
• Prepare and maintain tools and equipment (ladders, stencils, paint, trowels) for daily production activities.
• Safely operate a forklift to move pipes, reinforcement cages, and other materials around the production area.
• Open moulds, remove finished products, and prepare moulds for the next cycle.
• Ensure product quality by monitoring and addressing any issues during production.
• Perform finishing tasks such as patching, cleaning, and applying labels to products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Assist in general maintenance tasks when required.
• Communicate any equipment malfunctions to maintenance and supervisors.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours when needed, including weekends or holidays.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar hands-on environment is preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift operation experience (Forklift license required).
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Willingness to obtain further certifications (company-sponsored training available).

Desirable Qualifications:

• EWP (Elevated Work Platform) certification (advantageous).
• Confined Space certification (advantageous).
• Current driver's license and own vehicle (preferred).

Additional Notes:
