About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of tasks in both customer service and warehouse operations (Forklift Operator LF is a PLUS). Your responsibilities will include picking and packing orders, receipting goods, preparing orders for pickup or delivery, and providing exceptional service to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service to customers, assist with product inquiries, and ensure a positive experience at the parts store.
Warehouse Duties: Assist with general warehouse tasks including picking and packing truck parts, receipting goods, and organising stock efficiently.
Order Preparation: Prepare and package parts for pickup and delivery, ensuring all orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Stock Management: Maintain an organised warehouse with proper storage, shelving, and inventory management of parts.
Product Knowledge: Leverage your knowledge of automotive and truck parts to help customers find the right products.
Team Support: Collaborate with your team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Qualifications:
Automotive/Truck Parts Experience: Knowledge in this area is highly advantageous for supporting customers and warehouse duties.
Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role is essential.
Warehouse Experience: Familiarity with tasks such as picking, packing, and receipting goods is beneficial.
Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial for accurate order processing and inventory management.
Forklift Ticket: A forklift ticket is highly desired.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry truck parts (up to 30kg) and stand for extended periods.
Team Player: Must work well within a team and follow supervisor instructions.
Working Hours:
Roster: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Duration: This position is available for up to 4 weeks, with potential for extension based on business needs.
