DART Program Finance Manager
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support a large-scale Data and Regulatory Transformation (DART) Program within the public sector. This role will play a key part in financial management, performance monitoring, and strategic financial planning, ensuring compliance with government policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide financial management support across the DART program, including performance monitoring and reporting in line with policies and procedures.
• 
  Coordinate internal budget preparation (capital and operating), financial performance analysis, and reporting.
• 
  Manage and analyse financial data, business activity, and performance indicators to deliver high-quality reports and accurate forecasts.
• 
  Offer expert advice on internal budget policies and financial matters to program stakeholders.
• 
  Evaluate financial data to ensure accuracy in reports and systems.
• 
  Identify and advise on key financial risks and opportunities within the program.
• 
  Maintain a strong understanding of the Australian Government's financial framework, accrual accounting principles, and relevant accounting standards.
• 
  Utilise life cycle cost estimation methods, risk analysis, and financial forecasting for capital and operating budgets.
• 
  Develop and maintain collaborative finance business partnerships, providing strategic financial insights and risk assessments.
• 
  Present complex financial data clearly to diverse audiences to support decision-making

Essential Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, or equivalent are essential.
• 
  Professional certification/membership of a relevant professional association such as Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) is essential.
