Job description
We are currently seeking a Production Operator to join a well-established manufacturing facility in the Western Suburbs of Sydney. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to safety and quality.
This position is an ongoing position, Mon-Fri
The pay rate for this role is $50.45/hr for Day Shift
The successful associate will work 3 x 12 hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Board Stacking & Shipping Preparation: Prepare board stacks for shipping as they come off the production line.
- Forklift Operations: Safely operate a forklift to move product to designated storage areas in the factory.
- Labeling: Print and attach labels to product for identification purposes.
- Material Handling: Use forklifts to bring product to the unloader area and replace empty pallets.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure the work area is kept clean by sweeping debris and disposing of broken materials into bins.
- Quality Control: Monitor the flow of materials and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations and safety throughout the shift.
Requirements:
- Forklift license (essential)
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (desirable)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Ability to work in a DUSTY environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols
