Job description
Our client is looking for reliable individuals to assist in the assembly of products at their production plant in Beverley, SA. This is a great opportunity to start as a casual worker with the potential to convert to a permanent role.
The Role:
As an Assembly Worker, your duties will include:
- Assembling units, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards
- Operating and maintaining hand power tools (drills, screwdrivers, etc.) to carry out assembly tasks
- Following detailed assembly instructions and blueprints to ensure accuracy
- Performing quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure the final product is up to standard
- Managing and handling materials and components required for assembly
- Assisting in the setup and operation of the production line as needed
- Keeping work areas clean and organised to maintain a safe working environment
- Completing repetitive tasks with high efficiency and precision
- Collaborating with team members to ensure timely and accurate production output
- Reporting any issues or defects during the assembly process to the supervisor
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations in the workplace
To Be Successful:
To succeed in this role, you must be reliable and punctual, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. You should be physically fit, capable of handling manual tasks, and comfortable using hand tools. A good problem-solving ability is essential, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
This role offers standard award wages and requires full-time commitment, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The right candidate will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent position, providing a stable and rewarding career with our client.
