The position of Maintenance Technician with Capital Linen Service (CLS), as part of a small maintenance team, is responsible for managing CLS assets and equipment under the direction of the Senior Maintenance Technician to ensure they are functioning correctly, safely and running as required.

The Maintenance Technician will possess the ability and knowledge to be able to diagnose and repair issues with the performance of laundry equipment as well as perform preventative maintenance activities are required.

This position requires the ability to work rostered shift work including out of hours, weekend and public holiday work, as well as flexibility to work overtime and on short notice as required.

The candidate would need to:

• Be available Monday to Friday,
• Work Saturdays on a roster,
• Be available to be called in on emergencies if required including Sunday's. This is rare but can happen,
• Work on Public Holiday to a roster, &
• Work standard hours between 6am and 7pm

Compliance Requirements / Qualifications
1- Full working rights in Australia
2- Driver's License Class C is essential
3- Qualifications relevant to the position and/or substantial work experience relevant to the position
4- Must be available to work mornings or afternoons, and perform overtime (scheduled and unscheduled) inclusive of weekends and public holidays
5- This position does require a pre-employment medical
6- This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check

4- Asbestos Awareness
5- Forklift license
6- Confined Space ticket
7- Experience in Manufacturing or processing workplace
