Full Job Description
Our client is proudly Australia's leading steel manufacturing and distribution company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move and transport materials and goods within our warehouse or factory.

• ASAP start
• Temp possibly to Permanent
• Wollongong area
• $36.61 pay rate

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials and products within the warehouse or factory
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
• Move and stack materials on pallets or in storage locations
• Perform inventory checks and update records as needed
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling and transporting materials and goods
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or factory

Requirements:

• Valid forklift operator certification
• Proven experience as a forklift operator
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy materials as needed
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

You will be required to provide a Police Check and undergo a medical once offered the role.
