Job description
Our client is committed to providing top-tier service to our clients by driving excellence in operational planning, scheduling, and maintenance. As they continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Planning & Scheduling Coordinator to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Dispatch Planner, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our maintenance processes run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. Your responsibilities will include:
- Synchronising Activities: Coordinate maintenance tasks with stakeholders to avoid redundant visits and reduce unnecessary travel time.
- Optimise Scheduling: Maximise workforce productivity by ensuring efficient scheduling that minimises downtime and non-productive time.
- Timely Dispatching: Dispatch work orders promptly to keep the field workforce productive and minimise disruptions.
- Maximise Productivity: Monitor fieldwork to optimise efficiency and reduce wasted time.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and take action to prevent problems before they occur.
- Database Management: Maintain spreadsheets and databases accurately to track progress and activities.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to identify, interpret, and manage risks proactively.
- Planning background and traffic management exposure is a MUST
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to keep accurate records and manage workflow queues in line with KPIs.
