We are looking for a Despatch Officer on site for a chemical manufacturer.

Location in Laverton North, VIC
Able to start immediate.

The Position

• Preparing consignment notes
• Booking and arranging transport for regional and interstate deliveries
• Printing labels and organising the despatch of labels and documentation to external warehouses
• Laminating EIP's
• Administrative duties such as data entry, answering phones and emails
• Assisting sales representatives and other staff with their queries

About you

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role
• Experience in transport, shipping, warehousing, manufacturing or similar logistics role - highly advantageous.
• Confident liaising with a variety of people - including customers, transport/shipping companies and across teams/functions.
• Ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively.
• Computer literate with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Flexible and able to handle a changing workload
