Position Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment and enjoys engaging with candidates over the phone. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and on-boarding candidates for blue-collar industrial roles across warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing.

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

  • Conduct a minimum of 90 phone screens and 30 interviews per week
  • Source candidates through various channels, including:
  • Online job boards and company database
  • Social media groups and professional networks
  • Industry referrals and talent pools
  • Targeted advertising campaigns
  • Maintain proactive communication with potential candidates, keeping them engaged even when no immediate role is available

Screening & Assessment

  • Evaluate candidate suitability based on experience, skills, and job requirements
  • Conduct in-depth phone and face-to-face interviews
  • Request and review on-boarding documents, ensuring compliance with pre-employment requirements
  • Administer reference checks, medical questionnaires, police checks, and other pre-employment verifications as needed

Collaboration & Placement

  • Work closely with account managers to understand client job requirements
  • Match suitable candidates to job openings and coordinate placements
  • Maintain accurate records in the recruitment database

Follow-Up & Relationship Management

  • Provide candidates with timely updates on their application progress
  • Build strong relationships with candidates to encourage referrals and long-term engagement
  • Ensure all recruitment activities align with company standards and client expectations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in recruitment, sales, or a high-volume call environment is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience sourcing blue-collar candidates is a plus
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with recruitment databases and Microsoft Office
