Our client is seeking an enthusiastic candidate who will deliver a first-class service experience for a large Australia Government department in Mudoch, Western Australia

Job Description:
As a Customer Service Officer - Reception, you'll be the first point of contact, helping patients, visitors, and staff with enquiries, directions, and essential support. You'll provide professional and friendly service, ensuring the reception area operates smoothly and remains welcoming and accessible. This role requires excellent communication, customer service skills, and the ability to handle varying shift schedules with ease.

  • Provide friendly and efficient service.
  • Support patients, visitors, and staff with enquiries and information
  • Casual role at $36 per hour with flexible shifts
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment
  • Comprehensive training in customer service within a hospital setting
  • Greet hospital visitors and assist with wayfinding and general enquiries
  • Ensure reception operates effectively by supporting courier deliveries and handling calls
  • Provide support to non-English speaking visitors through access to translation services


Requirements:.

  • You enjoy helping others and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A strong focus on customer service, with experience in a customer-oriented environment
  • High-level communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and handle a variety of tasks with accuracy
  • Experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with basic medical terminology (desirable)
