Job description
Customer Services Rep:
9:00am to 5:00pm, Dandenong South office location (near new facility). Mon to Fri, 37.5 hours per week.
Role Overview
A Customer Service Representative is an individual contributor role that provides customer service to internal and external clients. The role collaborates with other CS representatives in the team.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Assists with incoming calls and emails.
- Responds to customer enquiries promptly and ensures follow-up, with the aim of responding to requests within 24 hours.
- Communicates with customers to address issues, concerns, and complaints
- Organises and files designated requests and inquiries, as well as archiving relevant documents for the Customer Service department
- Relays customer quality concerns to the appropriate associates or departments (example: to the Product Management team).
- Works towards key metrics
- Complies with company's quality system and procedural requirements.
Required Skills, knowledge, and attitude:
- Can type with speed and accuracy, with proficiency in using Microsoft Office software package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills, including active listening, comprehension (of customer needs), and provide effective solutions
- Can handle difficult callers diplomatically and perform effectively under such challenging situation(s)
- Attention to detail, as the role requires learning details of the Company's varied products.
- Experience in using relevant business ERPs/systems (SAP experience is an advantage).
- Preferably a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or industry
