Pay:$31.23

Location: Baulkham Hills - 2153

Shift: Mon to Fri - 8:00 am to 4:00pm


Overview: This role involves the mechanical assembly, wiring and basic testing of fire panels and related products. Involves manual handling of product weighting up to 90Kg using lifting / movement aids as needed. Use of pallet jack to move stock around within production and into the warehouse. Some unpacking and packing of product required.

Build basic fire panels, kits and assemblies use in fire panels in a timely manner following standard assembly procedures and layout/wiring drawings.
Ability to follow a wiring diagram.

Job Specifications:
Build fire panels etc in a timely manner following standard assembly procedures and layout/wiring drawings. Comply with Honeywell's Code of Conduct and O.H.S rules. Check parts are correct and useable prior to use. Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, electric drill, jig saw and the like according to Manufacturer's instructions and safely. Wear correct PPE at all times. Keep work area neat and tidy. Follow instructions from Supervisor and management as required. Accurately record time spent on each job on job sheet.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in mechanical assembly and wiring preferred.
3. Familiarity with using pallet jacks and other lifting/movement aids.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
5. Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies
