Safesearch have proudly partnered with Cox Automotive Australia (CAA) for a WHS Business Partner based at their Moorebank site, before ultimately transitioning across to their site at Kemps Creek.

Reporting to the National WHS Manager, this is a unique opportunity to partner with stakeholders and frontline leaders to influence the development, implementation, and coordination of the next evolution in the safety journey of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assist with the development of the CAA WHSE strategy & objectives
- Mentor and influence to build a positive safety culture across the company
- Manage the WHSE Training program and deliver training as required
- Undertake (Australian) National & New Zealand site SMS audits and inspections
- Incident investigation and reporting
- Coordinate the implementation of WHSE improvement projects and initiatives, with stakeholder collaboration and engagement, deliverables, and timeframes
- Conduct site/development safety inspections/audits and complete incident investigations
- Implement initiatives focused on behavioural change and drive engagement
- Manage workplace injuries, Workcover claim submissions and Injury Management processes
The successful applicant:
- Tertiary qualification in WHS & Auditing
- HSE experience in a similar role in a medium to large organisation or related industry
- Strong knowledge of National Workers Compensation schemes & Injury Management
- Strong knowledge of Work Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels within the organisation
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a valid NSW Driver Licence
