Job description
Key Responsibilities
Training Program Development
- Develop a structured training approach that aligns with the OneCouncil program's objectives.
- Apply the ADDIE model framework to plan, design, deliver, and review training programs.
- Create engaging and relevant training content incorporating best practices in adult learning and organisational development.
- Regularly update training materials to reflect organisational changes and evolving best practices.
- Collaborate with project teams and subject matter experts to assess training needs and tailor learning solutions.
- Ensure training delivery aligns with organisational learning and change management practices.
- Act as a key contact for employees and leaders seeking training support for OneCouncil.
Training Delivery and Facilitation
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and courses for staff at all levels.
- Use a variety of training methods, including e-learning, instructor-led sessions (classroom and virtual), and blended learning approaches.
- Lead Train-the-Trainer sessions to equip subject matter experts to train other staff.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making improvements as needed.
- Work closely with the change management team to ensure training supports a smooth transition to OneCouncil.
- Develop and implement feedback mechanisms to measure training impact and improve program effectiveness.
General Responsibilities
- Promote workplace values of collaboration, integrity, and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with child safety and protection policies.
- Support organisational responsibilities under the Emergency Management Act 2013, assisting in emergency planning and response activities as required.
