Background:

Our client empowers creators and is one of the fastest growing social media platforms across the globe. They are a technology-driven leader who inspire creativity and are currently seeking a quality assurance specialist to join their team.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the products launched in Australia meet the highest standards of quality. This is an initial 12-month contract with potential for extension for the right candidate.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work on technical and functional test strategy and methodology setup
• Perform various duties related to software quality assurance, function testing, performance testing
• Find and track the issues that will cause bad user experiences
• Collaborate with global RD and operations team to verify bug fix and recreate issues from user feedback

About You:

The successful candidate must have 1-3 years of working experience after graduation in software manual testing, strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, and excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

• Ability to understand and execute test cases
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Python, Shell
• Experience in test tools/framework such as Charles, uiautomator and Appium
• Willing to learn new technology and open mind for sharing
• Bachelor's in computer science, Master Degree or related qualification
• Possesses compliance awareness, e.g., familiar with GDPR or other data privacy regulations
