Our client, located in Central Hobart, requires an experienced Payroll Officer for an immediate commencement
Duties:
- The accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
- To process end of month deduction payments to ATO.
- Manage and be responsible for actioning emails in the Payroll inbox.
- Payroll data entry and processing.
- Importing & verifying new starters.
- Assisting with monthly reporting.
- Responding to payroll enquiries.
About you:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience
- Experience with large corporate or government payroll and finance systems as well as experience in the processing of end-to-end remuneration, superannuation, leave, and PAYG taxation rules.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of relevant Industry Acts, Superannuation Guarantee Legislation, Awards and Agreements applicable to payroll.
- Excellent Time Management skills.
