The role:

• Undertake maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to minimise plant downtime.
• Work on minor improvement projects.
• Work on upgrades, overhauls, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on heavy complex assets
• Apply fault finding techniques to identify and address problems with machinery, equipment, or parts

About you:

• Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Experience in gear boxes and motors
• Working at Heights and confined space tickets
• LF Ticket
• Must be able to read / interpret workshop drawings
• Able to undertake MIG and TIG welds
• Reading of Schematics
• Competent knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic systems
• Must have competent level knowledge of OH&S legislation, relevant codes of practice and regulations
