Job description

Safesearch have proudly partnered with a leading supplier of engineering consultancy, design and construction services for a hands on HSE Advisor to assist them in delivering to the development, mining and public infrastructure sectors.

Based out of Loganholme, this role will see you working across multiple sites and partnering with the wider team including project managers, stakeholders and contractors to drive best practice across the health, safety and environmental aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementation of HSE plans, policies, procedures, and strategies
  • Assisting all projects in drafting, reviewing, and implementing hazard identification, operational/plant risk assessments and SWMS
  • Supporting sites to ensure that emergency plans, procedures and programs are established, compliant and tested through structured exercises
  • Proactively onboard and monitor all contractors in line with the Sub-Contractor Management Procedure
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes and problem-solving activities related to safety, health, environment, and sustainability
  • Flexibility to travel to sites on the Gold Coast and oversee late afternoon/evening shifts


Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Ideally you have a minimum of 2 years' experience within civil construction
  • Experience working with mobile plant operations
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
  • Must hold valid QLD Driver licence
  • Must have valid industry White Card
