Our client is currently looking for experienced trade assistant to join their elite team.
As a Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our qualified Electricians and working closely with them to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.

Location: Newcastle

payrate: $51p/hr

Temp Contract, Fulltime hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform electrical wiring, cable pulling, conduit installation, and other related tasks as directed.
• Assist with the testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve faults.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Trade Assistant in Electrical work.
• Basic knowledge of electrical principles and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to perform manual labour and work at heights or in confined spaces.
