Manpower currently have a position available for an experienced warehouse operator for our client in the Minto area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate high reach forklifts safely and efficiently to transport, stack, and retrieve materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Perform stock checks, investigate discrepancies, and assist with inventory management using hand-held scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Conduct general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and organising materials for dispatch.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating a high reach forklift, with relevant certifications.
- Experience in stock checks, inventory management, and investigations.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment performing picking and general duties.
- Current driver's license and reliable transport.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dusty environment handling raw materials such as powders and liquids.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
