We are now seeking a Billing Customer Service Officer for our state government client to commence an initial 4-6 month contract with a possible extension.

Please note: Applicants must be Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or hold a valid work permit or visa.

The preferred candidate will be required to undergo security checks such as a police record check.

We are looking for an immediate start.

Locations:

  • Doncaster HQ: 8 positions available
  • Ballarat BC: 4 positions available

Working Hours:

  • 7.6 hours daily / 38 hours per week

Key Accountabilities:

  • Review presented PCR data for completeness to ensure accuracy and consistency of current and previous customer billing assessment outcomes.
  • Identify inconsistencies or deficiencies in PCR data presented for present and/or previous customer billing outcomes for review by the management team.
  • Provide customer services response to internal and external customer queries regarding billing as appropriate and aligned with position accountabilities.
  • Assess available reporting data, service records/documents, and Patient Care Records (PCR) for accuracy of billing outcomes.
  • Analyse and assess customer-specific circumstances relative to billing considerations, including identification of potential valid entitlements, evaluation of pre-existing medical conditions, and identification of PCR case details to determine accuracy of billing outcomes.
  • Raise billing queries appropriately to seek direction of anomalies or clarification of unclear billing outcomes.
  • Undertake system User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to support the successful implementation of system upgrades.
  • Undertake general administrative duties and other tasks to assist the broader team to meet KPIs and/or manage PCR task backlogs or organisational ad hoc requirements.
  • Ensure accurate customer account records are maintained, minimising duplication of customer accounts and maintaining the currency of customer account details.
  • Provide feedback and recommend improvements to enhance billing processing and systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and confidentiality of customer account details in compliance with record management, data security, and privacy legislation.
