The role would better suit a strong person and mechanically minded, as there is a bit of heavy lifting with 10kg bags (finished goods, palletising, raw material handling) and also the mixing/rolling task.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Saturdays in peak season.
Level 4
Tasks and duties
- Learn all tasks on production line - from mixing to packing, palletising
- Maintaining a high standard of safety and hygiene in the workplace.
- Preparing and maintaining production reports and records.
- Operating machinery and maintaining equipment
- Following set production schedules and targets
- Performing corrective actions when production quality is not met.
- Packing and repacking items when necessary.
- Report faults or production issues to the Manager
- Maintain high standard of personal hygiene
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Must have a Police check
- Physically fit (some heavy lifting involved with raw materials)
- Completed relevant vocation studies in food manufacturing
Skills
- Previous experience as a production worker
- Good understanding of how production equipment works
- Ability to detect potential problems with machinery
- Knowledge of basic safety rules
- Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Team player
