Job Opportunity: Building Attendant
We are seeking a Building Attendant to assist in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Important facilities in South Australia. This role involves a wide range of services, including maintenance, contractor supervision, waste recycling, and switchboard relief, ensuring smooth operations across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and ad hoc maintenance tasks.
- Oversee the ingress and egress of goods through the loading bay.
- Supervise contractors and trades-persons.
- Provide relief for switchboard operators as needed.
- Support recycling and waste management initiatives.
Special Conditions:
- Flexibility for out-of-hours work, overtime, and rotating shifts.
- A current Driver's Licence is essential.
- The role requires on-call availability and mobile phone usage as the first point of contact for staff and security.
- Must be comfortable working at heights and capable of lifting various loads.
- Shift work applies, with meal allowances for certain hours.
- Physical fitness is required for this role.
Requirements:
- National Police Clearance (required prior to starting).
- Medical clearance may be requested.
- Must be prepared to operate the telephone switchboard for short periods.
