Role: Desktop Support Engineer/Technician
Duration - 4-6 Months
Work location: Macquarie Park, NSW
Rate:$33-35/hourly+Super
Key Responsibilities:
Desktop support person that can follow instructions (with minimal supervision), can handle customer service and support calls, and with previous PC refresh experience.
Receiving and managing the security and storage of the new HP/Dell/Lenovo laptops.
Preparing and imaging the laptops in batches in an efficient manner.
Liaise with management and users to schedule times for handover.
Walk through the transition steps with each user to ensure a smooth handover.
Facilitate the collection from users and return of the Lenovo laptops to Lenovo/HP/Dell in a timely fashion.
Provide any additional on-site support required for the deployment.
Assist with planning & scheduling monthly deployment targets to meet agreed business expectations and achieve completion.
Provide additional IT Desktop Support as required.
