Our client, a leading State Government based department require Utility Officers who will be working in the veg processing and woodwork areas of the facility undertaking training, delivery and guidance work.
THE ROLE:
- Undertake relief duties in Prison Industries production and administration roles as required
- Contribute toward production and training outcomes across a diverse range of outputs
- Assist the Prison Industries Management with project work relating to new and existing industry related activity on an "as required" basis
- Participate in rosters which may change regularly and which may include extended periods of weekend work and varying day shift hours
- Undertake deliveries and collection of goods on behalf of various Prison Industries outputs using vehicles up to medium rigid capacity
- Accountable for undertaking general and routine grounds work to
- Ensure a clean, orderly, safe and supportive environment.
ABOUT YOU:
- Current Tasmanian Drivers Licence
- Current forklift truck licence (not essential, desirable)
- Current medium rigid truck licence. (not essential, desirable)
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A TASMANIAN POLICE CHECK
- Be of a good nature
